‘Fragments of the Omniverse’ is a series of 4-page mini-stories introducing some of the main characters and the city before Omni’s arrival.
We embarked on this venture for a number of reasons:
• Some publishers were looking for very short stories.
• As a writer, Anu liked the challenge of telling a complete story in just four pages.
• As an artist, Pramada could afford to spend time and effort over each panel and explore various styles, all of which is difficult with longer narrative forms.
• We would have complete stories to show you, our very patient readers.
Here is our first, ‘In the Gutter’, featuring the rough ‘n’ ready Spikehead as he takes on a nefarious organization. We love the results and hope you do too. ‘Light of Devi’, our next in line, will be with you eventually after Pramada has juggled sufficient pixels with his customary, maddening, extraordinary attention to detail.
